Wallet Hub is a local-first money management app. This policy explains how user data is handled and protected.
2) Data Collection Overview
Core financial data stays on the device during normal use.
- No ads.
- No selling user data.
- No unnecessary tracking.
3) User Data (On-Device Data)
- Transactions, categories, budgets, subscriptions, reminders, and preferences.
- Payment source references (for example, masked references such as last 4 digits when needed).
4) Authentication Data
Authentication data is used to restore the correct user-scoped app data.
5) Data We Do NOT Collect
- No iOS SMS inbox access.
- No background SMS monitoring on iOS.
- No full card numbers.
- No banking credentials.
6) How Data Is Used
Data is used to manage and organize income, expenses, transfers, subscriptions, analytics, and export features.
7) Data Storage
Core data is stored locally on-device. In normal usage, financial data is not sent outside the device.
8) Data Security
Wallet Hub supports optional Face ID/app lock and relies on iOS/Android security protections, including device-level encryption when enabled.
9) Third-Party Services
Apple platform services may be used for app functionality such as in-app purchases and local notification frameworks.
10) Subscriptions & Payments
Subscription billing is handled by Apple through App Store and Apple account settings.
11) Analytics
Wallet Hub does not include ad SDKs and does not use user tracking for advertising.
12) User Control
Users can edit, delete, export, and organize their data directly in the app.
13) Data Retention
Data remains on-device until edited, deleted, or removed with app/device data.
14) Children’s Privacy
Wallet Hub is not directed to children under 13.
15) Changes to This Privacy Policy
Policy text may be updated over time. The effective date indicates the current version.
